Shearasun Pale Ale

An American style Pale Ale with a complex malt and assertive hop flavor to round out the balance. Pale golden colour with moderate to high hop bitterness and flavor balanced with malt and a medium dry finish. A refreshing yet hoppy beer which compliments roast beef or roast lamb. Shearasun IPA

A traditional English India Pale Ale.

This beer is brewed with complex malt characters balanced by good hop bitterness, medium hop aroma and it is golden amber to light copper in colour, higher in alcohol content and comes off as a moderate to strong Pale Ale.

Pairs up extremely well with freshly cook fish fillets in a beer batter and thickly cut handmade chips.

ABV: 6.4% IBU: 64 AVAILABLE: All Year

Shearasun Dark Lager

Brewed as a Shwarzbier styled beer (black beer). This beer has very nice roasted chocolate notes on the palate. Dark brown in colour with a moderate hop bitterness which lingers on the palate long after the liquid has been swallowed. Very good as a dessert beer at the end of the night.

Shearasun Golden Ale

Brewed for the local punters as an easy drinking session beer. Using Pride of Ringwood hops to play to local palates, Golden in colour with a slightly fuller caramel malt flavor and mild hop bitterness, with low hop aroma. Low carbonation makes for easy drinking. It is by far our most popular and biggest selling beer. A great beer to drink whilst enjoying a summer BBQ with friends & family. Shearasun TIlls Pills

Brewed in the traditional style of a Bohemian Pilsner to satisfy a wide range of drinkers with sophisticated palates. A bright golden lager with a complex malt and pronounced hop flavor. A crisp clean and well rounded beer. Excellent to drink in the warmer months and pairs nicely with seafood, especially crayfish and prawns.

Shearasun English Brown

As the name suggests, an English style brown ale. This is a beer that defies the odds, it is as popular as it is deceptively good. Most people relate dark beers to the heavy stout style and this is where this beer surprises. Dark amber to reddish brown in colour with smooth malt sweetness and a complex nutty flavor. Low in hop flavor with medium to low hop bitterness, this is a well rounded and balanced session beer. Pairs well with Indian curries.

Shearasun Irish Stout

This is a limited release beer for the colder months of the year. It has won Rodney our head brewer several awards for best stout at numerous beer competitions.

This beer is black in colour with great head retention, big roasted malt and coffee flavours and is best enjoyed in winter. Irish stout is best paired with a hearty casserole or classic beef stew and can even be used as a base for these comfort dishes.

Blizzard Brewery Powder Pale Ale

Australian Single Hopped Pale Ale.

Using our Belgian house yeast strain and incorporating a single hopped Cascade, this refreshing ale displays citrus, melon and tropical fruit with a phenolic and spicy undertone from the yeast. We have also added a special ingredient not available from any other brewery - Liquid Powder. Like all of our beers, it is crafted using pure snow melt sourced from high altitude aquifers.

Blizzard Brewery Brandy Creek Kolsch

An Alpine interpretation of this classic German style.

Using Crystal hops to create a clean crisp ale, it throws slight citrus, passion fruit aromas with restrained spice.

Very session-able and perfect on a summer's day in the mountains or the country.

Brandy Creek, just a few minutes up the Great Alpine Road from the brewery, was the site of a gold mine from the 1860s.

We think you will find our Kolsch a gold standard beer.

Blizzard Brewery Avalanche Amber Ale

Brewed to an Alt style of dark ale, we blend an Avalanche of specialty malts to overtake your palate with a complex yet approachable beer.

Incorporating hop additions of Cascade and local Ella, we deliver a balanced dark amber ale without astringency due to the use of carefully selected specialty malts and our house yeast strain. Your taste buds won't want to be rescued from the aromatic tastes in this avalanche of flavor and color.

Blizzard Brewery Ice Horse IPA

Session IPA.

A hop forward styles crafted using Cascade, Mosaic, Galaxy and Ella hops.

Displaying dank notes of citrus and passion-fruit, with hints of pine and a balanced bitterness. West Coast inspired, it pours a copper, reddish amber with a persistent white head. The flavor and balance belie the low ABV - definitely an Ice Horse you can get on.

Blizzard Brewery AWARD WINNING Bladerunner Belgian Pale

Crafted with specialty Belgian yeast, we have created a taste of Belgium with the name and packaging inspired by a local cross country and walking trail of the same name. Medium bodied pouring a rich golden orange hue. Moderate malty, biscuity flavour with a backbone of spice derived from a healthy percentage of Rye malt. Aroma of passion fruit, melon, stone fruit, balanced with low peppery, floral, woody phenols finishing with a dryish smooth palate. Winner of the Peter Aldred Choice Award for Best Commercial Beer at the Ballarat Beer Festival 2017 and a Silver medal at the Australian International Beer Awards.

Nagambie English Amber Ale

With this brew I wanted to replicate a traditional English style, hand-pumped ale that is big on malt flavours and mellow on the bitterness. This brew is the hardest to make of them all due to its complex malt blend and delicate use of hops. At first I was hesitant to brew this as I really love the style but was unsure if the crowd would get on-board, but boy have they proved me wrong. ABV 4.6%
